The Tony Award-winning Broadway musical by Lin-Manuel Miranda (music, lyrics, and conceived by) and Quiara Alegría Hudes (book aka script) is now a major motion picture written by Hudes and directed by Jon M. Chu, included in Vanity Fair’s The 31 Best Feel-Good Movies to Boost Your Mood.

In its Broadway debut, In the Heights won the 2008 Tony Award for Best Musical and was a finalist for the The Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
